Did you know we detail, buff/wax and bottompaint boats that are currently on a trailer? We do it all the time...at your location, at your convenience.
The hourly shop and general labor rate for Boat Stuff Marine Services as of January 1st, 2010 is $69.00 per hour. Indoor storage and use of shop space is $15.00 per day, electricity is included.
Bottom painting, power buffing and waxing and detailing are always done subject to condition.
The labor and/or materials for these jobs are usually charged by the foot.  Diving services are $139.00 per hour, with a one hour minimum; travel time is charged at the shop rate. For your information: Detailing includes a complete wash-top to bottom, inside and/or out, stain removal, canvases and all vinyl cleaned, all stainless cleaned/polished, all accessable hatch gutters/drains cleaned, most all carpeting washed and/or vacuumed, cargo areas cleaned if empty and accessable... any other special requests or emphasis on certain areas is cheerfully accomodated at the regular detailing rate. | | Bottom Painting | For boats 30' and over: $6.90 p/ft. + cost of paint.(Consumables, such as latex gloves, roller cover, chip brush, masking tape, tray liner, etc., average $1.20 p/ft.) Price includes standard prep & labor. Scraping growth on the hull, blister repair, removing loose paint is considered extra and is charged at the regular shop rate. Did you know we bottompaint boats while they are on a trailer? "We do it all the time." At your location, at your convenience. For your information: It takes about one hour per ten feet of boat to bottompaint a 30' hull. Bigger boat hulls take a little longer, because they're usually wider. | | Tarping | Usually there is no charge for ground tarping, however, arranging tenting around a hull for example, is charged at our hourly shop rate, plus materials. | |

*Promotional discount only applies to new customers, and does not apply toward jobs charged by the foot, such as bottompainting and buffing and waxing. We reserve the right to change any or all of the conditions of this promotion at any time and for any reason. (We probably won't exercise that right, but, it makes us feel more secure having that in there.)
Now, here's the kicker...if the price is going to make you just want to scream and run down the dock pulling your hair out, then talk to us, we're flexible and really great at figuring out ways that will work for both of us. Besides, if the price still makes your compass spin around, check the "other guys", we have a tendency to STOMP on their prices.
