Nautical Links

These links are to those wonderful, awe-inspiring and imaginative places on the web that we thought you would find interesting and maybe even useful. They are sites and organizations that have inspired us, spammed us, made us laugh and made us spend money. Some just sat there and looked awesome. One was even accused of being too good to be true. You know who you are.

  #1  Boat Stuff Marine Services
        Of course. Stunning.

#2  YOUR LINK GOES HERE.
Just contact us, we'll work some arrangement out, we always do.

The International Guild of Knot Tyers was a real find during my starving artist days. It inspired me and taught me that just    because something looked really cool and easy to do on the web didn't mean it was a good idea to do it.

This particular link is just plain scary at how much excellent stuff is packed into it.

#5  Yahoo Groups-Knot Tyers
Who would have thought that there was such a thing...wow!

#6  Marinas.com
A monsterous amount of information...including aerial views of marinas, ports and more!

#7  Boat Stuff
Not us. But we couldn't resist adding them here.

#8  Seagifts.com
This website inspired me to create my own online store...it just doesn't get much better than this.

#9  Boat-ed.com
"Boat Ed is the only place on the Web where you can study the official boating safety manual developed specifically for    your state government's boating agency. After studying the course material and taking an online boater exam, students who pass will receive their official boater education certification. You can be certain that the boating certification card you receive for passing the online boating test will be recognized by the officers on the waterways."(boat-ed.com)

#10   Nautical Flags For You
Just because Mr. John Layton e-mailed us, and asked us nicely to link to his website...here's the link John. I took a      look and yup, it's a nice site with quality, hand-made in America nautical artwork, especially appealing to sailboaters and flag motif lovers everywhere!
"Now, nautical fans like you can hang your own colorful arrangement of signal flags to spell your initials or the name of a child, ship, home, business, or family... Each of the 26 flags stand for a letter and a message. Use our hand crafted flags to create your own message."

Richard Lerz wrote us, and we think his product is innovative, improves the boater's lifestyle and helps the world be a better place! A must-have for sailboaters!
"RiggingWraps Backstay Cushions protect feet from turn buckles, exposed cable ends and sharp cotter pins. In hot, sun exposed climates, RiggingWraps prevents discomfort from hot cabling...They are especially useful for larger sailboats that now have aft seating."

"United Marine Underwriters is a leading provider of marine insurance, with instant quotes available on their site for nearly any type of boat. They have a helpful Boat Insurance Guide available, designed to educate boaters about purchasing a policy. The boat insurance guide answers frequently asked questions like "What is covered under my policy?" and "What am I paid in the event of a loss?". Industry terms are defined that are necessary to understand in order to get the best policy. "
United Marine's site is www.unitedmarine.net, and the boat insurance guide can be found at http://www.unitedmarine.net/boat_insurance.asp.
